Made In LA part 1
Ans: The life of sweatshop works in L.A. are the same as those in Indonesia because they both make cloths for factories in USA. They are different because on makes cloths and the other one makes sneakers.
2. Why is it that poor immigrants (newcomers) end up working at sweatshops? Why don’t they work as lawyers or doctors or at Mcdonalds?
Ans: They end up working in sweatshops because if they work at McDonalds they will get deported back to the country they came from.
3. Predict what’s going to happen by the end of this movie
I predict that they are going to fight over them getting real jobs instead of working in a sweatshop.

1. How much do Nike workers make in Indonesia each day? How many hours a day do they work? Ans: They make 1.25 a day and 15 hours a day.
2. What is life like for Indonesian Nike workers at home? Ans: They have to share bathrooms with other families.
3. Why won’t Nike talk to Jim or Leslie or let them visit the shoe factory? Ans: They wont let them visit or talk to them because they will be punished

Ans: Making decent living mean you should have nice clean organized house. The things you should be able to afford is a car, house and cloths.
2. Where do your sneakers come from? Who makes them?
Ans : My sneakers come from Mexico and the person who makes them are Mexicans.
3. What is a sweatshop (take a guess, even if you have no idea)?
Ans: A sweatshop is when people have kids make stuff for them in a room.
